An Amarillo man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to firearms and drug trafficking charges. Michael Chad Kennedy, 31, was sentenced to 140 months in prison Monday in Amarillo’s U.S. District Court and still faces pending state charges. Kennedy pleaded guilty earlier this year to charges of felon in possession of firearms and methamphetamine trafficking. read more
