JCCC lands $2.5M grant for IT jobs training

Johnson County Community College nabbed a $2.5 million grant to provide innovative training programs in partnership with area employers from the U.S. Department of Labor. The department reported that JCCC was among U.S. 270 community colleges to receive part of a $450 million pie for job-driven grants. “The grant will give JCCC a chance to work closely with a business and leadership team to create an industry-driven information technology curriculum,” Darcy McGrath, director of grants leadership…
