Comment on Standish attorney denies domestic abuse, theft charges

A Standish attorney charged with witness tampering, theft of a firearm and domestic violence denied the charges in a statement Wednesday. Anthony Sineni III, 52 was arrested by Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday in Cape Elizabeth, booked at the county jail and released on $10,000 bail. Authorities provided no specifics about what Sineni is alleged to have done and an affidavit in support of his arrest was sealed at the request of the Attorney General’s Office, which is prosecuting the case.
