LU student, alumnus create app that lets you leave your wallet at home

[...] Bukovicky was coming up with a way to shed his wallet, media outlets across the globe were abuzz with news that former National Security Agency employee Edward Snowden had leaked classified information. The 23-year-old senior marketing major designed an app for iPhones 5s or higher that uses Touch ID, Apple's fingerprint recognition feature, to store sensitive information – photos, document numbers, and passwords - all on a cloud. A cloud is a series of secure Internet servers that provides consumers with online data storage. According to the duo, the app will be free for up to five files of 1MB each.
