Since Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 29, it may be cutting it close to send written invitations, but there's still time to make calls and post social media invitations to let people know what will be going on that day. Add special touches like festive decorations and music; serve refreshments. Flexible return policies and gift receipts will help make buying decisions easier for those who are unsure. Customers who have a positive Small Business Saturday shopping experience are more likely to come back, but be sure to promote the future sales and specials you'll be having throughout the holiday season.
