During evening hours Wednesday through Sunday, extra troopers from Connecticut State Police Troop I-Bethany Barracks will be on patrol along Interstate 91 and Route 15 in the North Haven area; Interstate 691 in Meriden; and Route 8 in the Shelton area.State police want to identify drivers who are operating their vehicles under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
