Comment on Wadsworth man, 53, dies of multiple stab wounds

Akron police and the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the stabbing death of a Wadsworth man Saturday night at a Sharon Street residence on the city’s west side.Authorities identified the victim as a 53-year-old white male from South Medina Line Road. Positive identification was being withheld pending notification of relatives.Gary Guenther, a spokesman for the medical examiner, said police were called to a residence in the 500 block of Sharon at about 6:20 p.m.
