Comment on Improve trails to improve bosque, Berry urges

Copyright © 2014 Albuquerque Journal A new city study concludes that improvements to trails and other public access improvements will not harm the environment of Albuquerque’s riverside bosque. The study comes as the administration of the city’s mayor, Richard Berry, contemplates revisions to a development plan that ran into environmental opposition when officials first floated it last year. The city of Albuquerque hopes to curtail use of “rogue trails” like this through the bosque, directing visitors to a smaller number of central walking paths.
