Top Five Chris Rock has finally made a movie that’s as consistently funny and inventive as his stand-up comedy. Borrowing a page from Preston Sturges, he plays a comedian who longs to be taken seriously. Rosario Dawson plays a reporter who interviews him over the course of one long, life-changing day.
