(AP) — A co-founder of the Subway sandwich chain says kids in Danbury can continue to play soccer on a field he owns until a new athletic field is ready to open. The city is preparing to build a $1 million multipurpose athletic field between the Mill Ridge Primary School and the Westside Middle School, which is expected to be ready in about 18 months.
