BOSTON — Boston Mayor Martin Walsh says the city is poised to handle the massive blizzard expected to strike the region, but he's asking for the public's help.Walsh is asking people to stay inside and off the roads so the city public works department's 700 pieces of equipment can plow and treat the streets.The city also has 35,000 tons of road salt and snow farms are being prepared to store the removed snow.There has been no official announcement, but Walsh says he expects city schools to be closed on Tuesday.
