1 Denmark shootings: A man suspected of providing a bulletproof jacket to the gunman who killed two people in attacks in Copenhagen has been jailed for 26 days. Officers arrested nine suspects in the eastern region of Valencia, including the alleged counterfeiters and intermediaries involved in selling the fakes online and through galleries, an Interior Ministry statement said Saturday. Car bombs targeting a crowded market and Shiite militia checkpoints in and north of Baghdad killed 37 people Saturday, authorities said. Samarra and surrounding areas have been under constant attack by the Islamic State group, which holds about a third of Iraq and neighboring Syria in its self-declared caliphate. The march was a sign of solidarity for the millions of people suffering in Nigeria and neighboring countries as a result of Boko Haram’s violence, said Guibal Gatama, the event’s main organizer.
