By Kate White Charges of assault and battery on a police officer filed two years ago against a Logan County attorney were dismissed by a magistrate this week. Ben F. White, of Chapmanville, was accused in December 2013 of making an obscene gesture toward three State Police troopers as he walked past them in a restaurant.
