Comment on Calhoun County investigates possible homicide

Daily Journal CALHOUN CITY – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi Bureau of Investigations and a state crime scene unit are currently investigating a possible homicide in Calhoun City. Sheriff Greg Pollan said a call came in about 4 p.m. of a man found dead in his home on West Taylor Avenue. He said a neighbor went next door to talk to him and found the man dead in his bedroom. The 42-year-old man’s name is being withheld, pending notification of his family members. More information will be available Saturday.
