Christopher R. Higginbotham, 24, was killed in a head-on collision about 12:10 p.m. The department’s Major Accident Unit determined that the motorcyclist, traveling with a group of other motorcyclists, was westbound on Cimarron from Interstate 25 and as they crossed the bridge over Fountain Creek encountered slower-moving traffic.
