The Mega Pet Adoption event also featured a special four-legged guest for National Help a Horse Day.“We have 23 horses in our rescue program right now ready for adoption,” said Karla Sibert, president of the Iowa Equine Rescue and Awareness League (IERAL).Buddy — who Sibert brought with her — is one of them.
