Storm dumps 6 inches of snow in parts of Teller County

By Maria St. louis-sanchez maria.sanchez@gazette.com -Spring storms dumped a new pile of snow on Teller County early Monday, with parts of Woodland Park reporting 6 inches of snow. A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service until noon. Weather spotters reported the following snow totals in Teller County Monday morning: Woodland Park: 4-6 inches of snow in various areas Divide: 5.5 inches Florissant: 3.5 inches According to the National Weather Service, Woodland Park may get up to 9 inches of snow and can expect winds between 15 to 25 mph.
