The Gazette -Roads in the area of Nevada and Colorado avenues in downtown Colorado Springs have been reopened after being closed for about 90 minutes as police investigated a suspicious item. Nevada Avenue was closed between Pikes Peak and Cucharras, and Colorado Avenue was closed between Weber and Tejon. Yellow police tape was erected around part of the City Administration Building, which houses the mayor's office and other city offices.
