BLOUNTVILLE — Consultant Tracy Richter presented the near-final facilities study report to the Sullivan County school board Monday night, honing projected costs and savings for three potential options to be finalized in time for a called meeting to accept — but not adopt — them on May 21.The Board of Education also heard from public commenters who supported keeping the county system’s “managed choice,” which allows city students to attend county school — as long as there is physical room — without going through a lottery, and supporters of the wrestling program at Sullivan South High School.
