The U.S. Export Import Bank has sustained jobs across the country but no place more than Washington, guaranteeing export loans for businesses as big as Boeing and as small as a Yakima Valley firm which has found foreign markets for music stands. Loan guarantees by the U.S. Export Import Bank have helped Boeing sell billions of dollars in aircraft to foreign airlines. The bank’s charter is due to expore June 30.
