The four-story Armani/Silos provides a showcase for four decades of fashion by influential designer Giorgio Armani, plus a digital archive of sketches, photos and ad campaigns, viewable on touch tables and video screens. The Ambassador Hotel, a former coffee warehouse built in 1854, has transformed into the Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery. The artsy Warehouse District hotel, close to the French Quarter, now has 167 airy, brick-walled rooms. Ethiopia: UNESCO named Simien Mountains National Park a World Heritage Site in 1978 primarily for endemic species such as the Walia ibex, Ethiopian wolf and gelada (pictured), a grass-eating primate also known as the gelada baboon.
