Beaumont firefighters work to extinguish a faire that consumed a vacant house in the 600 block of Palm Street in South Park Wednesday night. No one was in the home at the time and there were no injuries. The blaze, which broke out shortly before 7 p.m., was quickly contained and caused no damage to adjacent homes.
