Comment on Chris Christie plans campaign stop in Portland

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced his intentions to run for president on Tuesday and will be making a campaign stop in Portland on Wednesday morning. The Republican is scheduled to visit Becky’s Diner on Commercial Street along the city’s waterfront at 10 a.m. for what his campaign itinerary called a “special announcement event.” The stop kicks off a series of meetings and town hall-style events the 2016 hopeful has planned for New Hampshire through Saturday Christie visited Maine four times to stump for Maine Gov.
