Oklahoma City school district wants police to be role models, not intimidating

A district official told school board members this week that officers often are used to scare or punish children rather than mentor them. "This year, unfortunately, I believe our elementary schools have used them in a more punitive manner," said Teri Bell, the district's executive director of student support services.Read more on NewsOK.com
