Also known as the Massachusetts Equal Pay Bill, this legislation was sponsored by Rep. Jay Livingstone, D-Boston, and Sen. Patricia Jehlen, D-Somerville, and co-sponsored by 120 other legislators.Seventy years ago, Massachusetts passed the nation’s first equal pay act.
