An off-duty state trooper was arrested on domestic assault and battery charges at his home in Royalston early this morning, state police said.The 36-year-old trooper, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to the Millbury Barracks pending an upcoming duty status hearing. Police said that the trooper assaulted a woman while he was off duty.
