A Middlesex County man is the first person infected with the West Nile virus this year, but public health officials are still trying to determine where he was exposed to the mosquito-borne infection.The man in his 40s remains hospitalized, the state Department of Public Health said. An investigation is ongoing to determine where he was most likely exposed to the infected mosquito.
