Madison-based group gets $20M to study nanotech, environment

(AP) — A center hosted at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is getting $20 million in National Science Foundation funding as it studies the effects of nanotechnology on the environment. University of Wisconsin scientist says the center's mission is for nanoparticles in products to be designed to have no impact on the environment.
