Worth seeing at the movies

Worth seeing at the movies Robert Zemeckis directs this dramatic film about high-wire walker Philippe Petit’s famous cross between the twin towers in 1974. Rated PG. 123 minutes. Melanie Laurent directs this searing, well-acted film about a friendship between two teenage girls that turns more than toxic — more like ghastly and soul-cracking. In French with English subtitles. Vanguard of the Revolution Stanley Nelson Jr.’s documentary about the Black Panther party is a nuanced and informative portrait that provides a strong connection with current times. Interviews with Panther members, cops and an FBI agent offer complex perspectives, and a clear lack of bias from the filmmaker/ Not rated.
