By Kyle Schwab Staff Writer kschwab@oklahoman.comAn Oklahoma City woman accused of torturing and terrorizing her 7-year-old granddaughter was ordered to trial Friday. Geneva S. Robinson, 50, was charged in January in Oklahoma County District Court with multiple counts of child abuse for allegedly hitting, kicking, scratching, whipping and burning one of her grandchildren. Robinson's boyfriend, Joshua Granger, 32, also is charged and has been ordered to trial. Friday, both defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing, where a judge would have heard testimony from witnesses to determine if there is sufficient evidence for a trial. Court documents report the alleged abuse occurred between June and September 2014.
