STOCKTON — About 160 first-year engineering and computer science students participated in University of the Pacific’s 2015 Cardboard Regatta on Friday evening at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.Some sank. Some paddled their cardboard boats through the obstacle course to the finish line.“I think the students have a blast, and we certainly have a blast watching them,” said Gary Litton, a civil engineering professor.
