Smithco Development and Mischer Investments will break ground on the Cypress Creek Plaza retail center at the northeast corner of Fry Road and Tuckerton Road in Cypress. The center is more than 70 percent pre-leased to tenants such as restaurants, veterinary and pet supplies, medical, optical, dry cleaners, postal services, and hair and nail salons, and will contain several national retailers. Lovett Commercial broke ground on Main Street Kingwood, a 240,000-square-foot project anchored by an H-E-B grocery store on 33 acres at the northeast corner of Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway. The project will be built by LSI General Contractors and Construction Managers and designed by Heights Venture Architects.
