METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have placed cornerback Keenan Lewis on injured reserve, ending his season. The move, published on the NFL's transactions list Thursday, ends a frustrating season for Lewis, who has played in only six of New Orleans' 10 games this season because of a nagging hip injury. Lewis also injured his knee during New Orleans' Week 10 loss at Washington. In a corresponding move, the Saints signed cornerback Chris Owens, whose last regular-season action came last season with Kansas City. Owens played in 11 games last season with the Chiefs with three starts.
