Man accused of killing 8 may be too intellectually disabled for death penalty

Lawyers for a Houston man accused of killing eight people in a horrific episode of domestic violence in August indicated Wednesday that he may not face the death penalty because of his intellectual disability. David Ray Conley, 49, was charged with three counts of capital murder, accused of fatally shooting his estranged ex-girlfriend Valerie Jackson, her husband and six children, including his own son, one by one in the head.
