AKRONMan dies after truck crashAKRON: A 42-year-old man died Wednesday night after he lost control of a pickup truck on Florida Avenue in Akron.The crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. when the driver struck a curb and then a concrete retaining wall in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue.The crash left the 1987 Dodge Ram truck wedged between the concrete and a tree.The driver and his friends were able to remove the truck from the wedged position before police and paramedics arrived.
