Section II baseball and softball teams stayed busy with school closed this past week, playing double-headers to make up for any early-spring rainouts. The condensed spring sports schedule already is in the home stretch, with playoffs in lacrosse, softball and baseball only two weeks away. After the Section II tournaments wrap up in May, most state championships are held in early June.
