Your article on March 26 about the tragic loss of the USS Liberty and its crew provided a fair and reasonable account of that sad event and its aftermath. However, after reading an overly emotional letter about it on April 21, I realize that there are still people who continue for 48 years to promote conspiracy theories about the Liberty despite investigations by both governments at the time and, as reported in the article, a further investigation by the National Security Agency in 2007.
