City Council to vote on new Nova Scotia ferry deal

The Portland City Council is scheduled to vote Monday on a proposed lease agreement for the new ferry service between Portland and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, that is expected to bring about $150,000 in revenue to the city each year with no up-front cost to taxpayers. The deal with ferry operator Bay Ferries Ltd.
