She shot a lifetime-best 71 in the first round of the Class 4A girls state tournament on Lake Hefner Golf Club's South course. But Black is hoping for an even better day Thursday, when she will work to maintain — or maybe even extend — her lead and claim an individual state title. Black currently leads Fort Gibson's Emilee Rigsby by three strokes entering Thursday's second round. “I was just hoping to play the best I could, and I shot my record round today,” Black said.Read more on NewsOK.com
