Incumbents Fennoy and Williams, Jefferson win Augusta Commission races

Augusta voters retained two incumbents - Bill Fennoy and Marion Williams - and approved a familiar face, Andrew Jefferson, to fill three commission seats in Tuesday elections. Fennoy, the District 1 commissioner, escaped a runoff in the three-way commission race with 1,546 votes, 51.5 percent of ballots cast, in results to be certified later this week by Richmond County Board of Elections.
