ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — People attending a major gambling conference say Internet gambling has tremendous growth potential in the United States as the use of smartphones continues to grow. At the East Coast Gaming Congress and iGaming Institute in Atlantic City, casino and online gambling executives said the online gambling market has shown encouraging growth but still is a fraction of what it could be. New Jersey took in $148 million last year, an increase of more than 21 percent over 2014. Nevada and Delaware account for much smaller portions of the U.S.
