Most people don't laugh when they get a notice summoning them to jury duty. But when I got mine, I cracked up.In past years, I was called to Superior Court in Meriden for my duty, which can happen because Meriden is included in the New Haven Judicial District and I live in New Haven.But the notice I received a couple of months ago summoned me to Superior Court in New Haven on Church Street, which is practically my home away from home.
