PHOENIX (AP) — Paul Goldschmidt homered during a five-run second inning, Michael Bourn had three hits and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the San Diego Padres 8-7 on Saturday night to end a four-game skid. Goldschmidt also doubled and scored twice, and Bourn had a triple, a stolen base and two RBIs. Arizona knocked starter Cesar Vargas (0-3) out of the game in the second.
