The Air Force Thunderbirds will wing into town Monday as they gear up for the Air Force Academy's graduation Thursday. The Thunderbirds are scheduled to fly over the academy about 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday. The F-16s will fly again about 11 a.m. Tuesday as they practice for their graduation performance. All that flying will get the team ready for their signature moment: thundering over Falcon stadium as the school's class of 2016 tosses hats skyward to mark the end of graduation rites. The graduation flight is expected to start about noon Thursday. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
