GREEN: The city is paving the way to more smooth roads in town thanks to a lower-than-expected bid.City Engineer Paul Pickett told City Council this week that a portion of Raber Road between Avanti Lane and Mayfair Road has been added to this year’s paving schedule as a result of the city saving more than $700,000 on asphalt materials on the winning low bid of $1,879,085 by Superior Paving & Materials Inc.
