Seagate Technology on Wednesday said that it has cut another 1,600 jobs, or 3 percent of its global workforce, according to a securities filing by the Cupertino, Calif. storage firm. An unknown number of workers are in Seagate’s design facility in Longmont, but spokeswoman Cindy Martini said she could not confirm if any jobs were impacted.
