STOCKTON — It took only about 60 seconds for Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones to swear in two new officers, but it took years for the Police Department to achieve the staffing numbers it reached Thursday afternoon.Jones introduced two new officers, two police recruits and two police trainees during a swearing-in ceremony in the Community Room on the second floor of the Police Department.
