Eat free ice cream and raise money for local kids who need school clothes

Just by eating a free scoop of ice cream, you can raise $1 for the Salvation Army of Denver. There’s no catch — and all those dollars add up to serious money. If 10,000 people show up, 10,000 will be donated to provide back-to-school clothes for children from low-income families in metro Denver. Denali Moose Tracks and Meadow Gold Moose Tracks ice cream are teaming up  for the 10,000 Scoop Challenge, which will be held July 20 at Skyline Park on the 16th Street Mall from 11 a.m.
