Amarillo police and fire crews are responding to a traffic hazards on westbound Interstate 40 just east of Washington Street. Motorists are asked to avoid the area for up to two hours as emergency crews work the scene. Traffic may be diverted or shut down to clean up diesel fuel that has spilled. More information will be provided when it is released.
