Couple rescues injured bird

LIMA — Known for being the smallest in the falcon family, the American Kestrel has made an appearance in Bath Township. The American Kestrel was found, injured, by couple Amy Riesenberg and John Bayer. It was Mike Downing, a volunteer of the Black Swamp Raptor Rehabilitation Center, located in Pandora, who recovered the bird from the couple.
